KACTE provides leadership on issues related to professional education, with primary focus on teacher education and promotes effective public policy regarding professional education, enhances and improves professional education programs at member institutions, and enhances the professional effectiveness of members.

Fall Conference 2016 – Friday, November 4

Friday, November 4, Fort Hays State University in Hays will be hosting the KACTE / ATE-K joint fall conference. The keynote speaker will be Mark LaSalle-Peterson, AACTE Vice President for Policy and Programs.

During the afternoon sessions, please come to the to the conference with one or two identified key barriers (except funding) within your institution that hampers your accreditation efforts. Conference participants can then help brainstorm successes or suggest ideas that will reduce/eliminate these barriers.

Thursday evening, November 3, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., please join us for a social at the University President’s home on the campus of Fort Hays State University.
